- Online before August 12
You can get on the voters list using the online voter portal if you register by August 12. Check if you are on the voters list or register.

2. After September 1, apply to the city clerk’s office
3. Election day registration
Go to your assigned voting location and bring accepted ID. Acceptable documents originally in digital format can be shown on a mobile phone or device and will be accepted for voter identification
Who can I vote for?
Citizens of Guelph can vote for the positions of mayor, two councillors for their ward, and school board trustees. You don’t need to vote for all of these positions.
How can I vote?
Most people go to the polls to vote, as described in the table above.
You may also vote by mail or in some cases vote from home.

- Council Watch Reports from the last 4 years of city council decisions indicate who on council voted for what
